Bergvik Skog aims to maintain an open and proactive dialogue with our stakeholders. Therefore, we conduct stakeholder dialogues to identify what our stakeholders think about us, what we do and what they want to know more about.
Proactive stakeholder dialogues
It is part of Bergvik Skog’s overall strategy to create social acceptance for our management. One step in being more open and proactive is to expand the direct dialogue with our stakeholders to find their priority issues. Therefore, Bergvik Skog conducts formal stakeholder dialogues every three years. Together with KPMG, Bergvik Skog conducted a second stakeholder dialogue in autumn 2015. In 2016, we conducted a first stakeholder dialogue in Latvia.
The stakeholder dialogue aims to capture the issues that stakeholders consider to be the most important for Bergvik Skog to focus on and communicate. The results from stakeholder dialogues are the basis for what is reported in the annual sustainability report. The analysis is repeated every three years to see if there is any change in stakeholders’ valuation of Bergvik Skog. As dialogues have been completed in 2012 and 2015, the next dialogue will be conducted in autumn 2018. If you are interested in participating, contact Bergvik Skog’s Sustainability and Communications Manager Sofia Lilja.
