Public Access to Forests

The Swedish right of public access gives us access to forest and land even if we do not own it. The main rule that we should respect, however, is do not disturb and do not destroy.

In Sweden, the right of public access entitles all of us to move freely in the forest, whether we own it or not. At the same time, the right of public access obliges you to take consideration to nature and wildlife, but also to landowners and other visitors. The main rule is do not disturb or destroy.
